Last night our church organised a benefit concert for the Youghal Cancer Support Centre with world-class concert pianist Sam Rotman. The music was simply incredible – the kind that makes you realise why a piano has so many keys – yet for an hour and a half he played with not a shred of music in front of him. He also told his story of how he grew up in a religiously Jewish family, and how he eventually met the Messiah. We both got to go, thanks to a girl from church who minded the children, and thoroughly enjoyed it!
