While many in the USA are suffering from heavy heat and dry conditions, we are cool and wet. We actually just finished the wettest June on record at 2.5x the average rain fall, and this being Ireland, the average is high to begin with! All the extra water has caused flooding in some areas near us, and is making for an interesting time at the Munster Christian Camps (for youth) which are going on now in a farmer’s field. Rebekah’s arrival means our family isn’t there like we usually are, but all this rain makes us glad to be indoors. Flooded tents are a bit of adventure we’re not so sad to miss. From what we’ve heard, though, it sounds like the camps are going swimmingly….
