Viki, who has been living with us while she finished her last year of secondary school, just graduated! The graduation ceremony is different than what you’d see in America – there were no diplomas and no funny hats or robes. But there was a priest giving mass, as well as plenty of the familiar kind of graduation speeches. The “Leaving Cert” exams (a huge battery of tests kind of like the SAT on large amounts of steroids) are still to come, but they don’t make a big difference for Viki because she’s already been accepted and registered for classes at Moody Bible Institute in Chicago starting this autumn! We’ll definitely miss having her around, but we’re excited about what God is doing in her life!
