We are close to being able to apply for dual citizenship in Ireland, and while looking in to it we discovered that Rebekah is actually eligible for citizenship in Ireland already! Citizenship is not automatic for babies born here, but it turns out that because we lived in Ireland for three years before we had Rebekah, she is eligible. Looks like she could be the first Irish member of our family, and will also avoid the significant cost of naturalisation that the rest of us will have to pay. Hooray for Rebekah!
