Ok, the tractors weren’t in London, but our weekend did include both. On Saturday night, our church had an event called the ‘Harry Ferguson Story’ and Harry Ferguson is the Irishman who invented the modern tractor, among other things. Our event tied the gospel into the story of his life and accomplishments through the extensive research of our guest speaker. A local vintage club brought old Massey-Ferguson tractors to display and we had a good turnout of folks from the countryside around Youghal. Seth was there and learned a lot about tractors that he never knew before. Jessica does like tractors, but she couldn’t be there because she was on her way to London at the time for her birthday-present-trip. She’s there now, staying with a good friend and enjoying Irish mother’s day with theatre tickets from her folks and no kids. Thankfully for Seth, she’s coming home tomorrow night.
