Yesterday Seth and some other guys climbed the fourth-highest mountain in Ireland, Galtymore. It’s a bit over 3,000 feet tall, which wouldn’t qualify as tall in most places, but the climb was tough enough at the end where it got pretty steep. The clouds rolled in so that we could hardly see each other, which makes things interesting when you are trying to find your way back and there’s no trail – but thanks to a compass and boy scout training, we made it back just fine! The whole thing was a manly way to celebrate the fact that one of the guys just turned 18. It was great.
